My classmate is staying in Kuching and she told me that night life in Kuching is very quiet, it is nothing like Kuala Lumpur. The city is also quiet, maybe you can find the Water Front will have night life.
Hotels in Kuching has many choice and it is depend on your budget, it will be best to make reservation to avoid disappointment.
My friend told me the hotel near to Tua Pek Kong Temple, it is also fully booked. If think of holiday in Kuching head to Sarawak Cultural Village, I was there so many times I do not want to go any more.
